BreakFree Great Sandy Straits Hervey Bay is only 20 metres from restaurants and shops at the Great Sandy Straits Marina. It is 50 metres from the beach and 5 km from Hervey Bay Airport.

Each apartment includes a kitchenette or fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and a living area with TV. All apartments have a large balcony overlooking the beach, or a courtyard with grassed patio area.

Guests have access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, barbecue facilities, a games room and sauna. There is an internet kiosk in the reception area. Free secure parking is provided.

Please note: Breakfree Great Sandy Straits is a 3 Story Walk Up Building (no Lift Access).

We had a lovely time and the unit was well stocked with everything that we needed.

We had a lovely view of the marina. The location was convenient with places to eat within walking distance.

Having to take our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. We did attempt to go to reception to ask for an additional set of keys (as we did go out at different times and it would have been convenient to have two sets of keys) but there was no-one at reception when we went (I believe this was about 3pm on Saturday).

Overall a lovely location, lovely view and with a bit of TLC and a thorough clean it would be fantastic!

The view was spectacular, the spaciousness of the top floor and plenty of room but above all the view! Great facilities, pools and tennis courts and lock up garage.

The property is very dated outside areas could do with a paint, it just needs a little TLC small things, light bulb on balcony was blown, fan in main bedroom only had medium and fast speed the low speed wasn’t working, curtains in main bedroom were dirty, washing machine had gunk in it so didn’t want to use it, back patio had not been swept. Master bathroom needs new shower screens, the lounge room could’ve done with 2 x 3 seater since the place can accommodate 6 people also a small lounge in the master bedroom would be nice since it’s so big. Some more patio furniture considering there are 3 balconies. A proper washing line on back patio would be advantageous.

Super view but BYO Wifi

Super view in spite of rain, north east up the k’gari-Fraser Island coast Funky circular spa bath as centre-piece in middle of apartment could help my bung shoulder. Bed good

3 long flights of narrow stairs up which to heave heavy bags unassisted - when you think that other places have lifts and trolleys and porters, excuses like labour costs and so on don’t register otherwise guests. Bring your own Wifi internet connection- reception lending out small modems for a $200 deposit is a real downer.

fantastic location, grandkids enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to the beach.

We loved the view, the apartment was spacious and clean but basic.

didn't like how dark the stair well was when you first walked out of your room, the sensor light did not work until you were on the next level. we didn't realise there was no lift to the top floor, we were ok, but my 80 year old dad struggled. this was our fault for not checking first. but would have been nice to be made aware as well.

Von der Anlage hat man einen schönen Ausblick aufs Meer und es gibt ein paar Restaurants in der Nähe. Für jedes Zimmer gibt es einen überdachten Parkplatz.

Die Anlage ist allerdings sehr in die Jahre gekommen und sollte renoviert werden.

„Ok für einen kurzen Zwischenhalt.

Die Ausstattung mit Küche und Waschmaschine/ Trockner. Das Bett war bequem und die Lage sehr ruhig.

Leider war es nicht so sauber. Die Möbel sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Really good value for money. Good views and nice and quiet.
